Kunsthal Light #14: SIC SEMPER

Vanaf 16 april 2016 werk ik voor Kunsthal Ligth #14 aan een muurschildering in de Kunsthal in Rotterdam. De wand die ik beschilder is ruim 30 meter lang en tot haast 10 meter hoog. Het schilderen is de komende weken live te volgen, en niet alleen als u in Kunsthal staat: als u onder het gebouw doorloopt, over de schuine helling, kunt u mij aan het werk zien (maar ga vooral ook een keer naar binnen; er zijn ontzettend gave tentoonstellingen te zien op het moment!).

Op zondag 22 mei 2016 zal ik met Thierry Reniers van galerie Vonkel in gesprek gaan over de schildering, u bent van harte welkom om daarbij aanwezig te zijn. On 16 April 2016 I will start an enormous mural at the Kunsthal in Rotterdam, for their Kunsthal Light project, #14. I will be working on a huge wall; over 30 meters wide and, at one point, about 10 meters in height. The process will be visible both inside the museum and out; I will be working behind the glass wall alongside the ramp that goes underneath the museum. (Please also consider visiting the Kunsthal on the inside, they have wonderful exhibitions!)

Thierry Reniers (of Vonkel gallery) and I will talk about the work during an artist talk on Sunday 22 May 2016. You are most welcome to join us.
