‘My first Vonkel’, and my last Vonkel!

‘My first Vonkel’ is dus ook my last Vonkel, en meet 24 x 18 cm (acryl op linnen).

Not only can you visit the exhibition opening of Marie Pop’s Leviathan on 6 May, there’s also a very special exhibition at Vonkel gallery; the very last one! ‘Vonkel 2005 – 2017’ shows the work of pretty much every artist Vonkel has represented, before they close up shop for good on 1 July 2017.
Fortunately Vonkel will be replaced by Hoorn & Reniers, a new gallery at a new and wonderful location. I will, of course, keep you posted.
‘Vonkel 2005 – 2017’ can be visited until the 1st of July. I made a small work to commemorate the occasion; ‘My first Vonkel’ shows the first work I ever exhibited and sold at Vonkel, in the gallery itself (how it looked back in the day).
‘My first Vonkel’ is in fact also my last Vonkel, and is 24 x 18 cm (acrylics on linen).
